This interactive and provocative conversation aims to engage administrators and physician leaders in how to balance traditional

volume based agreements with the emergence of value based initiatives. 

Select examples will be reviewed and discussed; as well as tips for adoption and management of value based offerings in ENT. 

 

Educational Objectives:

  • Review the growing movement towards greater risk based agreements and efforts for infusing greater value for specialized clinical services in ear, nose and throat.
  • Identify examples for potential adoption in your ear, nose and throat practice.
  • Examine the 3-5 year market horizon for value based care in the healthcare industry. 

 

About the speaker: 

Les Jebson currently serves as an executive with Texas A&M Health Science Center.In this role, he serves as the inaugural interprofessional practice plan [IPP] leader. The IPP is tasked with designing and leveraging the collective faculty expertise of Texas A&M health science center's five colleges to implement state wide value based patient care initiatives. Mr. Jebson is certified and a fellow with both The American College of Healthcare Executives [ACHE] and The Medical Group Management Association [MGMA] and is also a Certified Healthcare Risk Manager. He serves as an instructor for several universities and consultant to healthcare professional organizations. He has over 100 authored healthcare publications and national speaking engagements. Mr. Jebson's primary areas of expertise resides in programmatic development, clinician recruitment, and team based care delivery models.
